REMAKING represented at the RGCS Symposium 2025
The Research Group on Collaborative Spaces has organized its 2025 symposium in Milan, entitled “In-betweenness”: spatial and temporal perspectives on working and organizing”.
The symposium received 50 papers and has been attended by 80 participants, including several members of the REMAKING consortium, and the aim of the meeting has been to dive deep into the time, spaces, and practices that lie between established ways of working and organizing.
REMAKING has been one of the sponsors of the symposium and has had and special session, where various members of the Politecnico di Milano have gone into the fundamentals of the project and have explained to the public present several of the details that comprise the project.
Besides serving as a loudspeaker for the project, the Scientific Coordinator of REMAKING, Marco R. Di Tommaso has been one of the keynote speakers of the symposium where he had the opportunity to give a speech to the audience entitled “Industrial territorial development policies: remote working opportunities and challenges”.
The Research Group on Collaborative Spaces (RGCS) is both an alternative learned society, a think tank and an immaterial maker space about and for new work practices. Collaborative communities and collaborative movements (coworkers, makers, hackers, DIY) are both a research object and a lever to transform work practices.
