In February 2024, the REMAKING project got underway in Bologna by holding its kick-off meeting.

The gathering was attended by members of the 12 partners comprising the REMAKING consortium, as well as various stakeholders. Over the course of two days, each of the partners was able to present the general lines of the work they will carry out over the four years that REMAKING will last.

The meeting not only served to get to know the work of each of the partners. Thanks to a very positive synergy, several topics were discussed that helped to solve doubts about the project and to reinforce aspects that required the help of other partners.

In an environment of teamwork and responsibility because of the importance of remote work in our society, the partners launched the project with the ambition to achieve all the objectives set at the beginning of the project.

REMAKING aims to deliver a policy-oriented framework reflecting the new and multi-faceted realities of remote working, facilitating policymakers to adopt place-based policies balancing the opportunities and risks of remote working and sharing practices to foster mutual learning on remote working in the novel scenario of megatrends and shocks.
