REMAKING at the CiMET´s twenty-first annual Workshop
On 19th-20th September 2024, some representatives of the REMAKING project joined the twenty-first annual ‘CiMET´s’ Workshop ‘The present future: sustainability and civil progress’ held in Enna (Italy).
The 2024 CiMET Workshops has focused on discussing research papers and projects related to the dynamics of structural change in the economy and society, the internationalization of firms, local development, and industrial policies. While the focus is on Italy and industrialized countries, attention is also given to emerging economies. The workshops encourage an exchange of ideas among researchers from different universities and regions, with an emphasis on interdisciplinarity and policy implications.
REMAKING has had a significant place in the event, with the participation of several members of the project consortium. REMAKING was represented in a special session for European Projects by Marco R. Di Tommaso (Scientific Coordinator of REMAKING – University of Bologna), Patrizia Leone (Technical Scientific Manager – University of Bologna), Elena Prodi (University of Bologna), Ilaria Mariotti (Politecnico di Milano), Laura Vici (University of Bologna), Pierpaolo Pattitoni (University of Bologna) and Riccardo Leoncini (University of Bologna).
Moreover, REMAKING had its own dedicated section in the event which consisted of four parts and was attended by Patrizia Leone, Elena Prodi, Federica Maria Rossi, Dimitris Manoukas and Ilaria Mariotti. This session addressed key aspects of the project such as Remote Working policies across Europe, mobility in times of Remote Working or territorial transformations.
