D2.1 Policy Brief I – Building a Resilient and Equitable Framework for Remote Work Across Europe

This deliverable, titled ‘Deliverable 1.2 Policy Brief I – Building a Resilient and Equitable Framework for Remote Work Across Europe’. The deliverable is about how remote working (RW) has developed and is regulated across Europe. It explains how the pandemic and digitalisation accelerated its adoption, highlights differences between countries’ approaches (laws, infrastructure, culture), and identifies three main regulatory strategies. It also stresses the ongoing inequalities and lack of EU-wide legislation, while proposing a phased European strategy to make remote work sustainable, fair, and beneficial for both workers and employers.
