REMAKING represented in the ‘Digital Nomads Across the Globe Housing, Planning, and Sustainable Future’ conference

On November 13, the conference ‘Digital Nomads Across the Globe Housing, Planning, and Sustainable Future’ was held in Lisbon, organized by EU Horizon Nomad Movements and Digital Impacts in Cities.

The conference was attended by several members of the REMAKING consortium, who had the opportunity to make presentations related to their work in REMAKING.

Antigoni Papageorgiou from European Creative Hubs Network presented the work ‘Tracing digital nomadism in South Europe through the lens of local destination communities: Insights from Greece and Portugal’.

Tiago Santos Pereira and Eugénia Pires from CoLABOR attended the conference too. Santos presented ‘What makes digital nomads? On the materiality and rootedness of the social worlds of digital nomads’ and Pires ‘Coworking spaces: a third-place to digital nomads or another financialization mechanism’.

Jan Bednorz from Visionary Analytics presented ‘Profiling the digital nomad: Evidence from Estonia’s visa programme’
