EUI FOCUSED POLICY LAB: Where people choose to stay: creating resilient cities

REMAKING will be represented at the “Where people choose to stay: creating resilient cities” conference, organised by the European Urban Initiative on 22–23 September 2026 in Celje, Slovenia. Aleksandra Morozovaitė, Senior Researcher at Visionary Analytics and REMAKING project partner, will take part in the Solutions Lab, a session showcasing practical tools and EU-funded projects that can support cities in implementing solutions at local level. She will present the contribution of REMAKING alongside the Horizon Europe project PREMIUM-EU, represented by Leo van Wissen from the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute. The wider event will focus on how cities can respond to demographic shrinkage, retain and attract talent, improve quality of life and develop place-based strategies that strengthen territorial resilience and people’s ability to remain in the places they call home.
